Kanye and Rihanna Release a New Video

At some point earlier this week, Kanye West's latest video for his song, "Paranoid," allegedly leaked on the internet. I doubt it was actually stolen and posted illegally but rather his record company put it out there early to help build a buzz. As of yesterday, they've released an "official" version, which is of course, designed to set the internets on fire. And it probably will.

The lone problem is, the video itself just isn't that interesting. If it wasn't for the fact that an always attractive Rihanna stars in the video, it would barely hold anyone's attention. The premise seems to involve Rihanna waking up from a nightmare, dancing around in sexy lingerie, then frantically driving away from something — film noir style — that's been haunting her from the past. You can put the pieces together yourself. If anyone likes the video let me know. I think it's good to see Rihanna making a comeback, but feel like Kanye is still exploiting her in a way that's hard to fully explain.
