Taylor Hicks Snubs Seattle Fans

• "Erika says: Wow. 21 comments already? I didn't even know Taylor Hicks had 21 fans!" This is what's wrong with the blogging world. Some bloggers think the world revolves around them, buy into all of Clive's garbage spinning, and don't get away from their computer screen enough to learn what's really going on in the world! Mr. Hicks is a great talent who treats his many fans with dignity and respect. A half wave while crossing the street is far more than many other celebrities would offer in response to being surprised by screaming fans. ;p

• "Erika says: Wow. 21 comments already? I didn't even know Taylor Hicks had 21 fans!" And nobody likes a "tool" who writes gossip and doesn't know anything about her subject. I'm amazed that you expect Taylor to stop in the street and put on a show for these fans. Doesn't he deserve any down time. Or are Seattle fans too "special" to buy tickets like the rest of us?

• Erika.... What you don't realize is that you are taking, what a few people thought of as arrogant & pissy, for a man, who happens to be well known, making his way thru a busy city unnoticed. Trying to go unnoticed should be respected, not bashed. Ask yourself this...is he arrogant & pissy when greeting fans after a show? Is he arrogant & pissy when he's doing an interview? I bet your answer will be "NO". Think about why someone's doing something rather than assuming why!

• Apparently there are quite a few things that you don't know. Like everyone needs private time. That everyone has bad days, and worries. Twenty-one comments are just the beginning. Taylor has thousands of fans. I think all of us are really tired of him constantly being trashed by people who only want a few hits on their blog. Taylor rocks!!

• Holy shit this is the dumbest article ever. What did you expect the guy to do? Jump up and down and perform? He's a human being who needs to be alone sometimes.

• Erika.....do you investigate reports before you print or do you go off the words of others?? Nevermind...I got my answer. In the real world....REAL reporters do an investigation! Taylor is a very shy person, but he is gracious to fans. How many Celebrities do you see who try and go unnoticed when they are out in public? People like you make me sick!

• PS and people are allowed to have off days too. So if he was pissed off about something, he should be allowed to with privacy.

• Taylor's a really nice guy, he was probably in a hurry. What did you expect him to do, really? I swear people want so much out of celebrities sometimes. They're people too.

• Taylor Hicks is a wonderful man and performer! I met him in Portland and he couldn't be more gracious. Hey, he was crossing the street and waved: what more could you expect. Taylor is on the go for his fans almost 24/7 and has very little time for himself. Thank you Taylor for being you!

• read your own article... "incognito" means he didnt want to get noticed.. "in a baseball hat" means he didnt want to get noticed...he got noticed and he waved to acknowledge his fans... talk about ungrateful tools.....

• I with everyone else here. I'm so sick of everyone trashing Taylor without even giving him a chance to see how he REALLY is. Since you don't like him anyway, why do you care what he did?

• How about showing a little respect to someone who obviously doesn't want to be hassled (hence the hat and courtesy wave). For all you know he was running late for an appointment or he had just received bad news. Just because someone is a celebrity, that does NOT mean they have to immediately stop and smile and pose for pictures each and every time they are recognized. Grow up, Erika.

• Whatever. Can't believe this garbage. Taylor is always attentive to his fans. However, he does have a life apart from his public endeavors. He could have easily been in a hurry for an appointment, etc. Will people NEVER tire of talking trash about the man? Get a life! Taylor rocks!

• Maybe Taylor did not have his body guards with him and decided to hide his beautiful silver hair under a hat in order not to be noticed because there are panty throwing sex hungry women that could have mauled...assaulted or grabbed and groped him. I would think he would like to keep his balls in tact. hahahahahaha! If I had been Taylor and alone in the street seeing tons of women with lust in their eyes...I doubt I would have waved...I would have run. But hey...he is a nice guy. Always has been, always will be.

• He waved didn't he? Good grief. Do you really think he should have stopped walking in the direction he wss headed, after a performance in Grease? Or whatever his days work was? Its a fact that out on the street it is not safe any more, sorry to say. Taylor is one of the most friendly celebrities I've ever met. Sorry you took offence, but I doubt that if someone called YOUR name out in the middle of the street that you would run to a total stranger? Especially if YOU were a very well known celebrity like Taylor Hicks? If you want a photo or autograph, be outside the theater where Grease is playing. Did you see Taylor on the show "Body Guards" by chance? You should.

• I have ran into Taylor various times. Never met a nicer celeb. What a dumb story. He was probably in a hurry and hoping not to be noticed for once. He sure doesn't go out of his way to be nasty like you do. Your remark is just so much BS.

• Having met Taylor following one of his shadow tour shows, I was impressed with how much attention he paid to his fans. I'm a little shy at times and he went out of his way to include me in a picture with him and made me feel comfortable. He is gracious and a true gentleman.

• I have seen Taylor Hicks a few times and has gone out of his way to be gracious to his fans,even standing in the rain signing autographs. I believe this is BS for sure.

• I used to work at the 5th Ave theater and I can attest to the fact that the crapper is very small and confined so after he had his usual bran muffin and quad espresso he would be in an awful hurry...

• Did you stop to think that Mr Hicks could have been in a hurry for another app. No you never cause if you had you would not have wrote this crap. Mr Hicks is always very nice to his fans but sometimes in life you have to hurry on your way. WE DO LIVE IN THE FAST LANE IN THIS DAY AND TIME.

• Unreal...sure gets old hearing trash about Taylor Hicks. I don't believe this for one second. I am quite sure, entertainers don't usually stop and run to their fans ....what a tool you are to write what is probably an exaggeration in a negative form of what really happened.
