Forbes Releases List of Hip-Hop Cash Kings

And not surprisingly, there aren't any Seattle names on the list. The city is having an amazing year for hip-hop and there's a ton of talent around these parts, so hopefully, we'll get some names on the Forbes list next year. I personally think the lack of strong urban radio support stops local artists from being promoted properly. It's not like guys such as Rick Ross and Flo Rida (who both made the list) are better rappers than folks here in Seattle. But they've got stronger regional support for their music and Clear Channel stations that play their music non-stop. Anyway, as for who did make the cut, Forbes's Top 20 Hip-hop Cash Kings list is below.
