Throwback Tuesdays: RZA and His Shaolin vs. Wu Tang Madness
If people don't already know about it, RZA of the Wu Tang Clan, is set to play a show at Neumos on Thursday, July 30. He's a got new album out called Wu-Tang Chamber Music set mostly to live instrumentation and seems to have a fresh new attitude about life and getting his beloved Wu Tang back on the map. 
And while that's great and all, there's a part of me that will always love his earlier, more kung-fu esoteric material. The man is a genius when it comes to splicing together sound clips from some of the best Shaolin and Wu Tang films of the '70s and setting them to his music. Hopefully he's still doing some of that these days but regardless, after the jump, check out a montage of some of the best original kung-fu clips that RZA jacked and hear the way he worked them into tracks you might recognize.
