• Wow dude, The word retarded in that song references what it meant in the 80's-90's to the hip hop & rap pop culture "The act of getting wasted on drink or drugs ie. In this day and age, "retarded" is just another word for cool, dope, tight, chill, or whatever you say when you like something. There is no more meaning behind it then that, they arent beating down on the handicapped: It's about slang not slur, it's not that big of a jump to get lost in translation...PLUS its been around for 30 years now so why wasn't there all the convo then? Does everyone just care now for some reason?

• Using the word retarded, in a song, or during daily conversation is just wrong. It's a slur. It's mean spirited and as hurtful as the N word is to some people. Using it even when you know it causes pain to the special needs community is really telling. Take a look in the mirror and figure out why you just don't care about a certain population of individuals who are asking you to stop. They actually get what you are saying and know when you are mocking them.

• I don't care for the Black Eyed Fleas at all. These guys headlining Bumbershoot is what's really retarded.

• HATE FERGIE. HATE HER SO MUCH. i don't know why the bona fide black eyed peas couldn't have found a chick who was talented and a hot piece of ass. come to think of it, fergie isn't even that great-looking, either.
