Along with Mudhoney's rabble-rousing rooftop performance that sultry night, there were plenty of quieter, beautiful moments. I had to dash out briefly to catch Brawley Banks that evening, so I missed this performance from David Bazan. This was a bummer, especially because he sang "Cold Beer and Cigarettes", one of my favorite songs by the guy on that deploys what is arguably the best use of the word "vagina" in a pop song, ever:
