More On Jenn Ghetto's Welcome Return
As elaborated upon in my column this week, local label Aviation Records will reissue sadstyle, the out-of-print 2002 solo release by former Carissa's Wierd member Jenn Ghetto. It's worth noting that in addition to remixing and mastering the original source tapes, sadstyle will drop on October 27 with a new layout (the original art is on the left), courtesy of local graphic designer and illustrator Charles Whiteside.
Ghetto also just let me know that her next show will be at the War Room on Tuesday, September 15 with John Atkins and Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death.

Thanks, Hannah! She sounds wonderful on the new Grand Archives album, which I've fallen for in a big way. It's closer to CW than their first album. Much appreciation for the info on Jen!

Jen was also in a brilliant metal band called Chrictor (some spelling like that). I would really love to hear them again as well. Anyone remember them? Jen is excellent...

Crictor was Jenn Ghetto on guitar and Creighton Barrett (Band of Horses, New Mexicans, Crutches) on drums.
