Tonight: SDRE in Tacoma, D. Black, the Drones
Sunny Day Real Estate is playing Tacoma tonight, and since Seattle is their last stop on the reunion tour, I'd consider leaving work early and heading south, since as far as we know, there aren't advance tickets for this show. 
The Drones
Closer to home, the Tractor Tavern's got a great bill this evening: the Drones, Eugene Wendell & the Demon Rind and Mike Jaworski's new band, Virgin Islands (it's the band's first show), are all playing. It starts at 9 p.m. and costs $10.
D. Black's album release party is tonight at the Crocodile, and since it's going to be one of his last few shows, I highly recommend showing up. The openers are great too: Dyme Def, Darrius WIllrich, They Live, Spaceman and DJ Vitamin D are all performing, and the show's only $10 (well, with a day of show fee tacked on).
