Your (Second) Affordable Live Music Option for the Evening
Plenty has been said about Visqueen's gratis performance at Easy Street tonight (and as such, that place is gonna be PACKED). However, it's worth noting that the Blue Moon always has shows with cover charges of less than 5 bucks. Tonight, it's a promising 6-piece collective called Manos de Plata whose sound weaves chamber pop with subtle, psych-tinged threads and occasionally descends into full-tilt, Radiohead-channeling rock. With a door charge of $3, that should still leave you with sufficient change for a few beers. Manos take the stage at 9; Ghost Lobby and Sorry round out the bill.
