Local photog and Seattle Weekly Flickr Pool contributor Alex Crick added this image he took of Elliott Smith when he played Moe in the mid-'90s with his band Heatmiser. Figure 8 is still my favorite Elliott Smith album. I know that puts me in the minority, but I'm a sucker for "Son of Sam," "Everything Means Nothing to Me" and all the rest. RIP, Mr. Smith.
