She's Coming Up Man-Sized

I'm in the midst of converting all my CDs to digital files and vowing to only buy vinyl from here on out. The process is obviously going to take me several weeks and it's more than a little tedious, but one pleasant side effect is that I'm revisiting great music I haven't listened to in a while. It's lovely to be reminded what a phenomenal piece of work PJ Harvey delivered to the world when she released Rid of Me in 1993. Sorry, Brian J. Barr, but I'd take Polly Jean over Dylan any day. After the jump, check out a great '93 performance of her doing "Highway '61 Revisited" in Chicago.
