Why Dead Moon Is Quintessential Zombie Movie Soundtrack Fodder
Like I said yesterday, it amazes me that no zombie filmmakers have stacked their soundtracks with Dead Moon songs. Even amateur ones. I can't tell you how many crappy zombie flicks I've seen that have terrible metal bands playing in the background the whole time (or worse, pop punk. Yeesh.) It ruins the experience. I once discovered a pretty decent zombie film called Dead Moon Rising , but there are NO Dead Moon songs to speak of in the movie. I know "Dead Moon Rising" is a Credence reference, but seriously. Get with it, people.
Anyway, since it's Friday and we're all about to jump out of our skins, I'd like to distract you with the below video. If I ever actually get my ass in gear and write the zombie movie script I keep saying I'm going to write more than five pages of (apparently, my awesome idea about cryogenics gone wrong has already been done), "Dead Moon Night" will feature prominently. I almost think it's better that you can't really see their faces. It's spookier that way.
