Video: Wanye Coyne Is Stripped Naked by a Hoard of Naked People

wayne-coyne.jpg
If you've haven't gotten your daily dose of pale-ass Northwest nudity today, allow me to present to you the new music video for the Flaming Lips' "Watching the Planets" off Embryonic, which was filmed in Portland. I couldn't get the video to embed, but you can check it out in all of its glory here.

The basic premise of the video is that Wayne Coyne, getting his Bubble Boy on, is snatched up by a mass of naked young adults who emerge from a snorting, spherical vagina. (Yeah.) They then proceed to parade him through the autumnal forest, both on foot and on bike, puncture his bubble, and emancipate him from his clothing. There seems to be very little acting direction, more just really stoked Flaming Lips fans traipsing kinda slowly through the woods. It's technically NSFW but it's not pornographic in the least; it's more cheerful and innocent than Where The Wild Things Are.

If you're interested in buying a deluxe edition of Embryonic wrapped in fur packaging reminiscent of the aforementioned spherical vagina, you can get it on their website.
