Seattle's Listening to Pink Martini, Wolfmother, Swell Season. Everyone Else is Stuck on Owl City, Jay-Z
Can anyone explain Owl City's appeal to me? His music sounds exactly like something I'd hear at the movie theater, right after the previews, just before the feature. No? Also, did you know Miley Cyrus put out an EP??? Nationwide Billboard results after the jump.
Adam Young is Owl City.

If you took all the worst attributes of Ben Gibbard and amplified them times twenty, you would have Owl City, real talk.

Owl city is appealing because it is pretty and hypnotic. Adam Young has a great voice and is amazing on a keyboard. That is why he is appealing, also he is a heartthrob for a lot of people. He has style and class and writes poetry. That is all there is to it.
