Throwback Tuesdays: Method Man -- "Bring Da Pain"
As I mentioned yesterday, Method Man and Redman are coming to town on Thursday and performing at the Showbox (Market). I can personally attest that they're two of the funniest rappers you'd ever want to meet and are just as goofy together off the stage as they are on it. They're sitcom run obviously didn't work out that well (why in the world did Red and Meth try to start a TV show on Fox in the first place?), but they're still talented rappers. There's something about the music they record together though that seems too contrived at times for my taste. I like them better live as a duo or as solo artists. But we'll see what they have to offer this Thursday. Plus local artists Fatal Lucciauno, Spaceman, and DJ Marc Sense are opening up so it's a show worth supporting.
