Should We Consider Neko Case's Middle Cyclone For Our List of the Top 10 Local Releases of 2009?

• stoetz, i suggest you listen to furnace room lullaby and blacklisted a few times before you call neko case the natalie merchant of our time. neko's amazing, normally. middle cyclone just happens to be the crappiest album she's ever made.

• No way. She's the Natalie Merchant of our time. In ten years we'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

• No. Put a smaller band on the list instead, someone who would really appreciate the acclaim.

• no, for two reasons. sure, it's not a bad album, but its the worst one she's ever made, and she hasn't lived here for a very long time.

• I think she should be on the list. I love her new CD and DO think it is her best yet. I never cared for a lot of the country tinged songs she did in the past. This one is pure pop for now people. I dig it more than anything this year.

• I vote no. It'll look weird if she ends up on both our local list and that of the mothership in Phoenix.
