Tad Doyle: Rocker, Thinker, Accountant at Georgetown Music Store

As I was finishing up a chat with Georgetown Music Store owner Michael Smith this afternoon, I noticed a plastic cup on the desk that read "TAD." Yeah, it's that Tad. Tad Doyle, the man behind the heavy, grunge-era band TAD, and now Brothers of the Sonic Cloth (creators of one of our top 10 local releases of 2009).

"I couldn't ask for a better accountant," Smith says. "He's smart, honest, and he keeps me in line. To have a business, you've got to have really smart people doing the back end, too."

Nice work, Tad.

The recently-opened Georgetown Music Store is located at 6111 13th Ave S, just around the corner from All City Coffee. Yeah, where the Georgetown Pharmacy used to be.
