Every week, photographer and conversationalist Jenny Jimenez ventures out into the city and brings back photos and notes about the folks she encounters. This week, she ran into Jordan Bramwell at Diva Espresso in the Broadview neighborhood while he was giving a math tutoring session.

All questions by Jenny Jimenez

Do you listen to much music?

A little bit.

What are you listening to now?

Well, I'm dating a classical composer and we went to a Bartok show not too long ago.

What do you usually listen to when left to your own choices?

I'm kind of all over the place. Nothing terribly specific. You know, whatever is on the radio. I'm not really that picky.

What were you listening to in high school?

I went through a punk rock phase for a bit. I was listening to Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys, Rancid - that sort of thing. I went to a few Warped Tours.

Do you remember the first show you went to?

Just a local show. A couple of bands. There was one called the Undermaid. They were really bad. It was like a dirty little basement somewhere, cramped full of people.
