Kim Warnick Covers Belinda Carlisle
Much to the chagrin of her Cha Cha Lounge co-workers, former Fastback Kim Warnick recently became obsessed with "Heaven is a Place on Earth", the sugary-sweet single and from Belinda Carlisle's 1987, post-Go-Go's solo record, Heaven on Earth. She was playing that song repeatedly at the bar for a reason; she wanted to cover it in a live context, but with a more rockin' edge. That's exactly what she did just over a week ago during the Hootenanny for Haiti benefit at the Showbox. Video--also featuring some fellow named Duff in the background--has just surfaced:
