-- New York Times: Jon Pareles on Hole at Terminal 5: "(Courtney Love) spent less than 50 minutes onstage, barely engaged the audience, stood in place and sang largely by rote. Her voice has never been pretty or in tune, but at this concert it was dilapidated whenever she wasn't shouting, and it flagged as the short set went on."

-- NME: Speaking of Courtney Love, she says she wants either Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy to take the title role in the forthcoming Kurt Cobain biopic.

-- Rolling Stone: If you have between $500 and $700k, you may be able to buy John Lennon's original scribbles of the "A Day In the Life" lyrics.

-- SPIN: Green Day has joined the roster of bands who will pay tribute to the Rolling Stones' Exile On Main St. on Late Night With Jimmy Falon. During the week of May 10, a different act -- Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Phish are already confirmed -- will play a track from the album, which gets reissued on May 18.

-- NPR: Get an early listen of Kris Kristofferson, Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends, being released by Seattle's Light In the Attic on May 11.
