Noise for the Needy Announces Lineup, Festival Planned for June 10-13
Noise for the Needy--a five-day non-profit festival that benefits other non-profits--announced its official lineup today. It's basically a who's who of Seattle's indie rock bands (Visqueen, The Maldives, Final Spins, Friday Mile, Tiny Vipers, Grand Hallway, The Maldives) with some bigger names indie acts (The Album Leaf, John Vanderslice) and handful of Portlanders (Horse Feathers, Portland Cello Project) thrown in. The shows will benefit Teen Feed, an organization that provides meals to youth and young adults, and are scheduled for June 10-13.![]()
The Maldives are one of 70 bands scheduled to play Noise for the Needy in June.
