Tonight: Sleepy Eyes of Death CD Release With Feral Children and Talk Demonic

I once likened the live experience of watching local band Sleepy Eyes of Death on stage to "watching a team of scientists build a futuristic Frankenstein before your eyes." Even though their new CD, Toward a Damaged Horizon, hasn't grabbed me the way their debut, Dark Signals, did upon first listen, music that densely complex is worth further spins, and their live show remains one of the most sonically enveloping sets you're likely to catch on a local stage. They celebrate their new release tonight at Neumos with help from two equally compelling live performers, primal, pop-pastiche artists Feral Children and Portland soundscape architects Talkdemonic.
