Sasquatch! Tip #17: Fill Up Your Growler at Ellensburg's Iron Horse Brewery

Last year I kicked of my first Gorge trip with a stop off for a growler fill at Rogue's Issaquah Brewhouse, only to be reminded of what a colossal rip-off their beers are. It gets no cheaper by the growler. If you're camping at the Gorge -- or any of the surrounding areas -- and need to pick up a last-minute growler (reasonably priced), you can do a whole lot worse than Ellensburg's Iron Horse Brewery.

Their handles are starting to show up more around town, so it's likely that you've had their Brass Ass Brown or perhaps their Quilder's Irish Death. Regardless, take a second to stop in if you're thirsty. You'll be the envy of all around the hack circle. They're open 1 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 5 on Sunday, and they can be found at 1000 Prospect Street, ste 4 (yes, it's an industrial park).
