K Records Goes Digital With Zip-Pak, The Newest Version of the Singles Club
Looks like Suicide Squeeze isn't the only record label the singles club. K Records just announced the launch of the K Singles Zip-Pak, a weekly series of underground singles. But there's a catch: K Recs is going all 21st-Century on its fans and offering the collection digitally. Members will be e-mailed a two or more songs each week, drawn from various upcoming K releases and delivered six weeks ahead of those releases' normally-scheduled street date.![]()
Karl Blau is just one of many K Records artists whose singles will be featured in the in the new Zip-Pak Singles Series.
The following artists (among others) will be participating:
- Mirah
- Chain & the Gang
- LAKE
- Karl Blau
- the Hive Dwellers
- Adrian Orange
- Strange Boys
- Jeremy Jay
Newly-signed bands including City Center, Kendl Winter, Joey Casio, Christmas, Rainbow Bridge and Electric Sunset will also debut singles through Zip-Pak.
There's a bunch of other perks, too, like exclusive mixes, bonus songs, photos, custom wallpaper, and behind the scenes videos.
The first K Singles Zip-Pak will be sent Thursday, July 1, and then every week thereafter. A one-year subscription is $50.
