The xx at the Sasquatch! Music Festival on May 30. The trio plays The Paramount on Sept. 25.
How's this for a roller coaster ride? In 10 months, British electric pop trio the xx will have gone from being the opening act at Neumos (Nov. 27, 2009), to headlining Showbox SoDo (April 12), to Sasquatch! at the Gorge (May 30), and finally to what will be their biggest local headlining show (and we assume the last of the year) at The Paramount on September 25. It's exhausting just to think about.

The trio's show isn't great yet. They adhere very, very closely to their self-titled debut. But that suits many folks just fine. Tickets for the show are $26.50 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
