Woven Bones Signs With Hardly Art, Will Release 7-Inch of New Material + Play Wildrose on August 14

display all the aural trademarks that you would expect from Woven Bones - overdriven guitar squalls, driving bass, pummeling caveman drums and front-man Andy Bones' distinctly reverbed-out vocal yelps - but with more clearly defined hooks, emphasized by ever-so-slightly-cleaner production. This is not Woven Bones going pop - but it is as close as they have thus far gotten to that unlikely scenario.

Woven Bones released their debut full-length, In and Out and Back Again, earlier this year on Chicago's Hozac Records and will hit the studio again early next year to record its follow-up with Hardly Art. In the meantime, the band will spend the remainder of the summer and the fall on an extensive, country-criss-crossing tour, including an August 14 date at the Wildrose with Idle Times.
