Last month, the long-awaited Danger Mouse/Sparklehorse collaboration, Dark Night of the Soul, was finally released. If you haven't checked it out yet, I recommend you do. The record features an eclectic array of guest vocalists, including James Mercer, Iggy Pop, David Lynch (who also created a book of photos as an accompanying visual narrative for the songs), The Flaming Lips, Julian Casablancas, Jason Lytle, Black Francis, Suzanna Vega, Nina Persson, Gruff Rhys, and Vic Chesnutt.
