Head and Heart Added to MusicFestNW Lineup + Self-titled LP Still Top Seller at Sonic Boom

The Head and The Heart are blowing up all over the Pacific Northwest. As if the adulatory reviews for the band's self-titled, debut LP weren't enough, the Seattle alt-country group has now been added to the lineup for Portland's MusicFestNW. They'll play the festival at 8 p.m. September 10 at Mississippi Studios.

Being booked on a major Pacific Northwest music festival just a few months after self-releasing their debut album isn't the Head and the Heart's only recent accomplishment: The Head and the Heart was also the best-selling album at Sonic Boom records again last week.

Curious what the buzz is about? The Head and the Heart plays the Columbia City Theater this Friday with Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground.
