Bumbershoot Photos: This Is What Courtney Love Looks Like in 2010

• She did not disappoint!

• Recently saw the Love show in Detroit, Courtney's singing and playing were incredible and I was kind of surprised. I thought I was going to see a fading burned out 90's rock icon but instead saw a rock ARTIST at the top of her form delivering powerful and creative new music. She looked good and sounded great. It's good to see a female AMERICAN rock icon still delivering great music and getting CLEAN.....good job Courtney. We should appreciate Love more, she's an AMERICAN gem, despite all her flaws and strangeness. Micko's Larkin is sensitive and powerful guitarists who accurately translates the emotions and feelings that Love is trying to convey in her music, he has a world class playing style and sound....good choice Courtney. The internet clips of her latest performances don't do her live shows justice, the sound quality on these clips as well as the sound quality on the AOL sessions she's done are horrible and Love, or her mangement, should repost them on You Tube etc. A recent comment I read was right on....I'd also rather see Love performing wasted, stoned and being human than watching all these other musical robots performing their half a-s-s-e-d overproduced, over edited, micro-managed, endorsement chasing corporate mega-drivel.....but it's great to see her healthy, clean. and sane...hope she stays that way. (Love no longer looks like an anorexic Aushwitz survivor, but actually looks and sounds kind of hot again). Kurt and Courtney......the saddest love story on earth........she continues to tell the tale......and I want to keep listening. Read " Heavier then Heaven", by Charles Cross, it's one of the best biographies out there about Kurt and Courtney, extremely well documented and extremely sad, but it paints Love in a fair light. When I read it I was embarrased for Cobain but also saddened that somone with so much, and so much to offer, would allow it all to be consumed and destroyed by drug addiction. The tattoos?......no thanks. ( The World Health Organization states that 2.5 BILLION people on earth now have chronic and deadly Hepatitis B, and that a significant portion of those infections are from unregulated tattooing......why advertise tattooing?.......bad Karma.)

• She is the grossest, clumsiest mule walking across the stage. Smoking and coughing/hacking, nicotine stains all over her body. EEEEEEE! GROSS!

• Dress her up, fill her full of plastic, paint over the scars and track marks, and what are you left with? The disgusting, miserable, pathetic, waste that is Courtney Love. Kinda like a female version of GG Allin (except, GG wrote his own songs).

• She delivered and looked better than expected. Kudos to Courtney!

• Who knew Britney 2005 was booked for the mainstage?

• indeed! She looks stunning.

• I'd have to say considering the life she has lived she looks a whole lot better than one would expect and for whatever sick twisted reasons I think she has real talent.

• Honestly thinking she looked pretty damn sexy... and put on a great performance!
