Two New Videos From Two of My 2010 Favorites - Delorean and Maps & Atlases

Categories: Music Video

Delorean put on a kick-ass show at Bumbershoot a couple weeks ago (and they'll be back at Neumos on November 12). Today Vevo premiered the band's latest video for "Real Love," directed by Focus Creeps (they've done videos for Girls and the Morning Benders). This clip disturbs me; it makes me afraid to go home to my dog, James. In it, there is beach fun and puppies, but then it all gets bloody. Bad dogs!

Maps & Atlases
debuted a clip of them playing "The Charm" with a junior high drumline, but "Solid Ground" is the first official video from their full-length, Perch Patchwork. In it, the band communes with nature by a lakeside while front man Dave Davison's body creepily and aimlessly floats around in a canoe.
