The Kurt Cobain Memorial Foundation is raising funds to put a youth center in the late Nirvana founder's hometown. Last year they had one-time Nirvana drummer Chad Channing and his band Before Cars perform at their annual benefit, and this year they've tapped Soul Asylum and Sweet Water to do the honors at this year's bash. If anyone deserves a youth center it's the kids in Aberdeen, a place that anyone who's driven through lately knows feels like the edge of nowhere.

The show goes down on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at Aberdeen's D&R Theatre. Tickets are between $20 and $30.
