Today Reverb Recommends Picking Up a Pair of Classic Crosby/Nash Records for $1.50
The catch is that you have to act immediately. While thumbing through the ol' bargain bins at Everyday Music yesterday, I happened upon both Graham Nash & David Crosby and Live, two classic albums from the duo playing WaMu Theatre Wednesday night. The combined total is $1.50. I strategically placed them in hopes that one crate-digger will find them both. It's a wonder that the catalogues of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young--or any of their acronym-based projects--can be found in this harmony-loving, folk-addled, country-curious city. ![]()
You'd think the records would be fetishized like gently worn Pendleton sweaters. Their music means so much to today's indie-folk/alt-country constituency that, when Crosby mentioned to Reverb last week that he'd heard and enjoyed one of the scene's best-sellers, Fleet Foxes, the band took to their Twitter account to Tweet:
"'I've heard em.' - David Crosby. Can we put that on our advertisements, Dusty?
