Today Reverb Recommends Getting Your Tickets to See Pearl Jam Twenty at Cinerama

You may have heard that 2011 is the 20th anniversary of a couple Seattle records from a couple Seattle bands. This week, the city's celebrating both Nirvana's Nevermind (see tomorrow's sold-out tribute concert at EMP) and Pearl Jam's Ten.

To commemorate the latter, Cinerama will be showing the Cameron Crowe-directed documentary Pearl Jam Twenty, on its screen that stretches a city block. It's sure to be rowdier than a showing of A New Hope, but no less geeky. For a certain segment of 30-somethings (and the odd 20-somethings), Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, and the rest are as life-defining as Skywalker and Yoda have ever been.

Pearl Jam Twenty's four-night run kicks off Tuesday, and tickets are still available to the 10:30 p.m. showing.
