Today Reverb Recommends Heading to Sonic Boom for a Free In-Store from New Villager

New York dance-rock trio New Villager is currently touring in support of similarly minded British band Metronomy, with whom it will play a show at Neumos at 7 p.m. tomorrow night. Tickets for the show are only $12, but you can head over to Sonic Boom in Ballard today at 6 p.m. to catch the band for free. "RichDoors" (embedded above) gives a good taste of what to expect, sounding a little like Starfucker and a lot like Hot Chip. It's not exactly novel, but it sounds like a good time, and the price can't be beat.
