Yellow Bedwetters & 9 Other Awesome Tribute Bands That Should Exist

We at Seattle Weekly love our tribute bands, to the point where we've formed a pair ourselves: Et Cetera, the world's only Peter Cetera cover band, as well as Pity the Foo, a Foo Fighters tribute band. And there are, for certain, plenty of great tribute band names already out there, such as Bremerton's own Hell's Belles or Barely Manilow.

But where there's a band, there's a great name for another band which mimics it. So we figured we'd get a jump on the competition by suggesting 10 awesome tribute band names that should be adopted by some band, somewhere, stat:

1. Yellow Bedwetters (incontinent Pearl Jam tribute band)

2. Chaka's Cons (Chaka Khan tribute band comprising ex-felons)

3. NWA: Neurosurgeons With Attitudes (Bellevue-based gangsta rap cover band comprised exclusively of scalpel-wielding studs)

4. Chynna's Dolls (Wilson Phillips)

5. Suck 364 (Blink 182, but with two of each instrument)

6. Badmotorscooter (Soundgarden cover band made up of Vespa enthusiasts)

7. Dorothy's Dog (Toto)

8. Witchy Women (all-female Eagles tribute band)

9. Even Better Than the Real Thing (super-cocky U2 cover band)

10. The Doobie Stepbrothers (Doobie Brothers cover band whose moniker more accurately acknowledges the composition of the modern American family)
