• I attended the Prince concert last night at the Tacoma Dome.  Prince performed well, but I felt we only got 1/2 to 2/3 of his show.  Something was off.  I don't know if the people surrounding the stage didn't give him the vibe he was looking for or if he was just in a mood.  However, I felt he didn't think the crowd was funky enough and he cut the performance short.  He only performed his "top 20" songs, no slow jams, no segment where it was just him and the audience.  The acustics in the Dome are always a challenge.  Not sure if that was part of the problem, but he only performed for a little over an hour.  I felt the show ended abruptly.  I am a long time fan and have seen him perform in the past.  This performance was not up to his royal standard.  I was disappointed because where I was sitting we were singing every word to every song and were enthusatic about his performance.  However, the end of the show was a let down. 

• If you're going, you are in for a treat.  I just saw him on Saturday in Victoria and everyone is still buzzing.  Here's a tip; do anything you have to do to get into the after party. After the Victoria show, he played a local club with an audience of less than 300 into the early morning and it was an amazing experience.
