Visqueen's Rachel Flotard and Jon Rauhouse, the pedal steel player for Neko Case, provide a single, gorgeous track to a benefit album for the Jan. 8 victims in the Tucson shooting that injured Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The duo collaborates on a somber, delicate, guitar ballad which showcases Flotard's lilting voice and impressive range, and which brings to mind the aforementioned Ms. Case. With material this good, it makes the breakup of Visqueen just a little easier to stomach.
