Where it was written: Basement of a somewhat haunted house in Madrona.
Favorite line in the song: "If allowed through the thick of them, visions make decisions, ritualed repetitions."
Which part was the hardest to come up with: Writing lyrics to an already existing instrumental composition and trying to make it into a danceable pop song.
If you could go back and change anything, what would it be: I wouldn't change a thing. The song has already gone through so many arrangements and after recording it and playing it live it finally realized it's form.
Odd fact about the song: The main idea or theme that makes up the music actually comes from a piano quartet I had written last year.
When was your favorite time performing it live: At the Comet this past summer. We packed the whole place with friends and fans. Everyone was dancing!
What is the meaning behind the song: There was a rumor going around that this song may or may not be about a Jesus-like character. And that may or may not be true. Really, I don't know. It's mostly ambiguous; We do that.
