If you could go back and change anything, what would it be: The tempo.
Odd fact about song: It kicks off with a line referencing my experience sitting at the top of a mountain before taking off for a snowboarding trek down a hill. Was sitting there reflecting on life. "10,000 feet above the world and I am living" is the opening line.
What was your inspiration for writing the song: Life being in a band for X amount of years and continuing on with the ups and downs that make it all worth the journey.
When was your favorite time performing it live: I'd say probably the first time we ever did in Arizona. Was a fresh new song and a great feeling.
What is the meaning behind the song: The song is based around my personal experiences as well as all of ours collectively as a band surrounding life on the road. Not only that but the relationships that have come and gone throughout the years and been affected by that. Many surrounding this music and encompassing the years of madness. More or less soaking in the entirety of it all and picking up to move forward the moment you realize you've just begun.
