Van Halen Reunion Tour Hits the Tacoma Dome On May 5. But, Is It Really a Van Halen Reunion Without Michael Anthony?

• Not a safe town at night? Maybe in 1988 that was true. Been to Tacoma lately?

• The only reason that VH is still doing anything is because of Wolfgang. Eddie wants to play with his son. If Michael Anthony was still in the band this would not be happening at all.

• Obviously, the bass player's got to playing a custom bass in the shape of a Jack Daniels bottle in order for it be considered a true reunion.

• Yes, Wolfgang is VERY talented indeed!!!  Really does hold his own.  GET OVER IT ABOUT MA ALREADY!!!  This lineup is friggin awesome!!!  Saw them in 2007 with DLR at the rose garden in Portland, that was a kick ass show, as will this one!!!  Will be there for sure!!!!  BTW, all of you bitchin' 'bout the acuostics of the dome, I saw Roger Water's Wall show there, and the sound was just fine!!!  It was even better that the rose garden, IMHO!

• Give it a rest about Anthony, he is gone. Wolfgang is a fantastic base player just watch the new live footage and how happy they look and how great they sound. I hope by mid tour Sammy and everyone else will quit bitchin and move on.

• Seriously , cancel the show in Tacoma and play a real venue like the Gorge at George ! The Tacoma Dome is not a place for any musicians to play if they want the crowd to enjoy their music. The acoustics suck , the traffic is the worst in Washington State and once you leave the show , it's not a safe town to be in at night , really.

• Why no show at  Gorge at George

• If all of the original band members are alive then it can't be considered a true reunion.

• Michael added so much more than most realize. I've seen most all line ups of VH tours & Mike is sorely missed!

• Michael Anthony wasn't just a bass player. He also supplied those iconic high falsetto harmonies that made so many VH anthems legendary!
