A Star Is Stillborn
You remember what Frank Sinatra used to sing about Seattle: If you can't make it here, don't even bother trying in New York? Well, the producers of Lone Star Love appear to have taken that to heart. The 5th Avenue announced this morning that the previously "Broadway-bound," Seattle-launched musical is going to mull it over a little more before hitting the Great White Way. The show had been scheduled to open at the Belasco Theatre in December.
Our Tim Appelo was certainly underwhelmed. An advance look at his review (written before the news) is here.
