Schwarz considered for Utah job?

An article by Edward Reichel in the Deseret Morning News discussing possible successors for Keith Lockhart as music director of the Utah Symphony & Opera mentions Schwarz:

"Other conductors who have appeared here recently and who would make wonderful music directors are Andrew Litton, Thierry Fischer, Stefan Sanderling and Gerard Schwarz, although Schwarz has always had troubled relationships with his orchestras and his tenure here would probably be short term."

Interesting. Idle speculation, or does Reichel have some inside info? First time I've ever seen any discussion outside Seattle on Schwarz's possible post-Seattle career. Utah's one of middle America's underappreciated orchestras; though I haven't heard them recently, the recordings they made under longtime maestro Maurice Abravanel suggest that a move to Salt Lake City would not be a step down for Schwarz.
