Countdown to Charlize

SIFF starts tonight at 7 p.m. with Battle in Seattle at McCaw Hall, and a party following afterward. For the fawning press, there's to be some kind of photo op red carpet ceremony before the screening. Presumably that means Charlize Theron and her boyfriend, BiS director Stuart Townsend, will be there to obligingly pose for the flashbulbs (not that tabloid photographers actually use flashbulbs, or film, anymore). Maybe we'll report on that later in the day. More likely, blogging will have to wait until after the screening, then after a late night 9:30 p.m. press conference, and then after the party. So, more Battle dispatches to follow today, tonight, and probably early into Friday morning.
