KOMO Rocks the Emmys

People who know me well know that I'm a whore for KOMO. Why? Because: (a) Dan Lewis' hair is amazing; (b) a guy I know wants to be one of Eric's little heroes -- his only hero, in fact; and (c) because they've been kind enough to be our broadcast partner, often airing their own versions of our riveting prose. So it is with whorrific pride that I convey the news that KOMO really rocked the shit at the recent local news Emmys, earning more Emmys than any other station. A full list after the jump.
KOMO- TV was recognized for its excellence in news reporting and programming receiving 14 Regional Emmy Awards, more than any other station in the northwest.
The awards included the coveted Overall Station Excellence Award and Best Newscast for both morning and evening news.
In addition, a special Silver Circle Award was present to news anchor, Kathi Goertzen for her lifetime of work.
