Continuing Education Fridays: Pacific Northwest Food

Hey, local-food fanatics, mark your calendars:

The Pacific Northwest Historians Guild is hosting Let's Eat: A History of Food and Foodways in the Pacific Northwest, a one-day conference held Saturday, March 3, at the Seattle Museum of Science and Industry. Sessions include “The Lettuce King of Fife,” "Potatoes: A Washington Tradition," and "Ivar’s and the Culture of Clams.” This is the only event that could make me regret going on vacation that week. And I'm being 100 percent serious.
