A Place For Your Jet Boy, Jet Girl

Categories: Eats report

The Hangar Cafe in Georgetown is a coffee house with bonus features: Caffe Umbria coffee and Mighty O Donuts, along with frittatas, beer and the occasional jet engine blow by. The tiny converted house across from the airport makes simple sandwiches for lunch (carnivore, herbivore or whatever you call vegans) and has a small breakfast menu. But you're welcome to laze in the cozy room with a latte and enjoy the wi-fi. The sunny outdoor seating space is strategically moderated by umbrellas and a large pine tree for those of us mole people who still need a little acclimating to the sun. Take your favorite kid (mine's 42) to ogle at the many varied sizes and shapes of planes flying in for a landing.
