Savor Seattle Food Tours
I love Pike Place Market. Really, I do. In the winter. But I've been there with visiting friends maybe six times in the last three weeks, and by now, the last thing I feel like doing is fighting the throngs of tourists for a donut or a glimpse of flying fish.
If you're looking to get out of one more trip to Pike Place Market with summertime visitors, check out Savor Seattle, a new food tour company that launched earlier this week. They'll do market tours, of course, which are about two hours long, and include tastings, meet-and-greets with market personalities, and a bit of history. Culinary tours of the ID and Belltown are in the works.
Or maybe you're a kinder, more patient person than I am. Go ahead, then. Tag along.
Tickets are $39, and tours run rain or shine. This is Seattle, after all.
