Virginia Inn Soon to Expand
Just found out over a delicious Muffaletta sandwich that Bottomfeeder's favorite non-Bottomfeeding lunch spot, the Virginia Inn, will be closing for a few weeks beginning in January to enable a long-awaited expansion. As in: Construction of a real kitchen, which should come as welcome news to the crew of chefs who've produced simple, fantastic French-influenced dishes from a tiny bar nook near the First Avenue window for the past 104 years.

This is good news. I love the VA Inn, but could seriously go for a few new items on the menu.

Just the capacity to step on the gas when they\'re slammed will be enough for me, although I hear ya.
