Corn Roasters Are All Over the Place

Two more roasted corn sightings (here's a link to the first):

I was at MacPherson's Fruit and Produce yesterday, and saw the El Oaxaqueno roasted-corn shed in the parking lot (here's a post about it on the Tofu Hunter blog). It was closed, but there's a phone number, and as soon as I remember where I wrote it down as I was driving away, I'll give the place a call and try to get hours. Looked like the toppings and prices ($2.50 an ear) are the same as the other two corn roasters I know of.

Then, walking to work, I spotted another corn roaster stand on the plaza at 4th Ave. and Pine. Corn costs $2.75 here — downtown location, downtown prices. Anyone been?

Tell me: Are corn roasters new to Seattle, or am I just noticing them more this year?
