Floating Teahouse Leaves

TEA1.JPG

After two years at 22nd and Market, Floating Leaves Tea is moving . . . up the street.

I was told that "sometime in August," the popular teahouse in Ballard will be moving to 17th and Market. The new location will be a smaller retail-only store. The website says the teahouse is closed for the rest of July, but it was business as usual when I stopped in on Tuesday.

To celebrate the new shop, the owners are throwing an in-store party on July 19th with music and, of course, tea.
